Who am I?

By the fact you are on the about page means you must be interested enough to find out more.

Well as things stand I’m a 20-year-old student journalist at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston. I put in far too many hours per week on the student newspaper, Pluto, and currently hold the position of Deputy Editor having previously being News Editor and Sports Editor in my time in Preston.

I’ve been interested in motorsport for as long as I can remember. For those of you who are interested, my first memory was the 1994 Australian Grand Prix which, as I’m sure you are all aware, was won by ‘Our Nige’. Since then I’ve been hooked and followed every season of Formula 1 since as well as reading about its history.

My interest has broadened in the intervening years and now follow a range of series across, not only the UK, but Europe and beyond.

Some of my favourite memories include Damon Hill winning the 1996 World Championship, Kimi Raikkonen’s pass on Giancarlo Fisichella in Japan 2005 and Nigel Mansell taking on the BTCC boys at Donington Park in 1998.
